By using UPTN Services (for example, when you register for an account, communicate with us, on Our sites or applications or through social media), you agree and provide consent to Our collection, use and sharing of your personal information as described in this policy.
Accessing Site and UPTN Services through VPN
You should not access or use the Site (website/m-site) or UPTN Services by means of any mechanism or technology which conceals your actual geo-location or provides incorrect details of your location (for example, use a virtual private network (VPN) to accessUPTNServices, proxy server).
We will not be responsible or liable for any collection, storage or processing of your personal information or data if you use any mechanism or technology to access or use Site or UPTN Services which conceals your actual geo-location.
Usage of our Mobile Applications
This policy shall also apply to our mobile applications. You are urged to update to the most current version of mobile applications. If you use an older version of these apps and/or access discontinued services, We may not be responsible or liable for any damages, due to any collection, storage and processing of your personal information as per older version of mobile application.

We may use “clear GIFs” (Web Beacons) to track the online usage patterns of our Users in an anonymous manner, without personally identifying the User. We may also use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to our Users to track which emails are opened by recipients. We use this information to inter-alia deliver our web pages to you upon request, to tailor our Sites or Service to the interests of our users, to measure traffic within our Sites to improve the quality, functionality and interactivity of our Sites and let advertisers know the geographic locations from where our Users come without personally identifying the Users.
C. Inferred Information through usage and log data

- Google –Email id, language preference and age.
- LinkedIn – Email id, public information which may include name, profile picture, current position etc.
Demographic and other information
We may reference other sources of demographic and other information in order to provide you with more targeted communications and promotions. We use various third party analytics service providers, among others, to track the user behaviour on Our Site. They are used to support display advertising towards helping Us gain understanding of Our users’ Demographics and Interests. The reports are anonymous and cannot be associated with any individual personally identifiable information that you may have shared with Us.

Information Use by the Company
The Information supplied by you enables Us to improve Our services and provide you the most user-friendly experience(s). In some cases for e.g. provision of certain service(s) or utility (ies), We may require your contact information as well. All required information is service dependent and UPTN may use the above said user Information to, maintain, protect, and improve the Services and for developing new services.
We may also use your email address or other personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages about our Services and/or such additional updates and features about third parties products and services with an option to subscribe / unsubscribe (where feasible). We may, however, use your email address for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of major changes, for customer service purposes, billing, etc.)
When you register with the Application or Services, we contact you from time to time about updating your personal information to provide you features that we believe may benefit/interest you.
Information sharing with legal authorities, affiliates
UPTN shares your information with any third parties without obtaining the prior consent of User in the following limited circumstances:
- When it is requested or required by law or by any court or governmental agency or authority to disclose, for the purpose of verification of identity, or for the prevention, detection, investigation including cyber incidents, or for prosecution and punishment of offences. These disclosures are made in good faith and belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary for enforcing these Terms or for complying with the applicable laws and regulations.
Disclosure to Third parties
When we present Information to our advertisers — to help them understand our audience and confirm the value of advertising on our Sites — it is usually in the form of aggregated statistics on traffic to various pages / content within our Sites. We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Sites. These companies may use Information (excluding your name, address, email address or telephone number or other personally identifiable information) about your visits to this and other Sites or application, in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. DATA RETENTION AND ERASURE
How long do we store and use your Information
We retain the information which We have collected no longer than is necessary. This is determined on a case by case basis. Normally We will retain the information as long as you maintain an account with Us and till the time you continue to access and use UPTN Services. We will delete your information as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law(s), whenever you request Us to do so. However, We may archive and/or retain some information for legal purposes.
When you use the Services or Sites (or any of its sub sites), we make good faith efforts to provide you, as and when requested by you, with access to your personal information and shall further ensure that any personal information or sensitive personal data or information found to be inaccurate or deficient shall be corrected or amended as feasible, subject to any requirement for such personal information or sensitive personal data or information to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case, where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort. Because of the way we maintain certain services and/or due to requirements under applicable laws for retaining or preserving information, after you delete your information, such information and/or residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from our active servers and may remain in our backup systems.
We retain your personal information as long as necessary for Us to provide services to you or you ask Us to not retain your data. If you no longer want Us to use your information then you can request that We erase your personal information and close your UPTN Services account as soon as reasonably possible, based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law(s).
We may retain some of your personal information as necessary for Our legitimate business interests, such as fraud detection and prevention and enhancing safety. For example, if We suspend the UPTN Services account for fraud or safety reasons, We may retain certain information from that account to prevent that user from opening a new account in the future.
We may retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with Our legal obligations. For example, we may keep some of your information for tax, legal reporting and auditing obligations.
Information you have shared with others (e.g., Reviews, forum postings) may continue to be publicly visible on the UPTN Services, even after your account is cancelled. However, attribution of such information to you will be removed. Additionally, some copies of your information (e.g., log records) may remain in Our database, but are disassociated from personal identifiers.
Because We maintain copies of personal information to protect from accidental or malicious loss and destruction, residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from Our active servers and may remain in Our backup systems.
Please note that if you have multiple accounts with Us, then you will have to raise separate requests for each of the accounts, along with the associated email IDs or phone numbers.
Further, We may retain and use Your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with Our legal obligations.
UPTN Service is not intentionally designed for or directed at persons less than 18 years of age. UPTN does not knowingly permit any person who is under 18 years of age to register with the services or to provide any other personally identifying information. If UPTN becomes aware or get notified that any personally identifiable information of persons less than 18 years of age has been collected on the UPTN Services without verified parental consent, thenUPTNwill take the appropriate steps to delete any such information.
However, We consider it the responsibility of parents to monitor their children’s use of Our services. Nevertheless, it is Our policy not to collect and process any personal information from children below 18 years of age or offer to send any promotional materials to persons in that category. UPTNdoes not seek or intend to seek or receive any personal information from children. Should a parent or guardian have reasons to believe that a minor has provided UPTN with personal information without their prior consent, please contact Our Grievance Officer to ensure that the personal information is removed from the UPTNServices.
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of Our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, including appropriate encryption and physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data. All information gathered is securely stored within the Company controlled database. The database is stored on servers secured behind a firewall on the cloud; access to the servers is password-protected and is strictly limited. However, as effective as Our security measures are, no security system is impenetrable. If you know or have reason to believe that your UPTN account credentials have been lost, stolen, altered, or otherwise compromised or in case of any actual or suspected unauthorized use of your account, please contact Us by contacting Our Grievance officer.
