अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडेन ने गुरुवार को दुनिया भर में दिवाली का त्योहार मनाने वाले लोगों को बधाई दी। बिडेन ने ट्वीट किया, “दिवाली की रोशनी हमें याद दिलाए कि अंधकार से भिन्न कहीं ज्ञान, बुद्धिमत्ता और सत्य भी है। विभाजन से भिन्न, एकता और निराशा से भिन्न आशा भी है।” उन्होंने आगे ट्वीट में लिखा कि “अमेरिका के अलावा दुनिया भर में दिवाली का जश्न मना रहे सभी हिन्दुओं, सिखों, जैनियों और बौद्धों के लिए पीपुल्स हाउस की और से दीवाली की शुभकामनाएं।”
